Wellness Check Add-on (Optional Safety Feature)
An optional, paid mobile add-on for subscribers on Monthly 4-hour or Monthly 20-hour plans. It helps a trusted contact know when the user has not spoken with their AI companion for an extended period. This is a user-initiated, opt-in safety notification service — not emergency or medical care.
- Explicit consent: User must purchase the add-on, enter a nominee phone number, and confirm irreversible enrollment in the app before any notifications are sent
- 24-hour app reminder: Push notification to the user if they have not had a companion conversation in over 24 hours
- 48-hour nominee SMS: Service notification SMS (service implicit, non-promotional) to the user-designated nominee if inactivity continues beyond 48 hours. The same alert may repeat at most every 3 hours while inactivity continues, until the user speaks with their companion again
